Ava Ansorg is a lighting designer and production electrician based in Savannah, Georgia. She received her BFA in Lighting Design from Savannah College of Art & Design. 

 

Ava strives to explore the subconscious through lighting design. With a focus on perception, emotion, and philosophy, she actualizes and intensifies human vulnerability with dynamic and thought-provoking compositions. The transcendental and immersive nature of light stimulates her concepts, process, and execution.

Additionally, Ava enjoys and excels at many other aspects of technical theatre and design. She has experience as a carpenter, scenic painter, draftsperson, ETC lighting programmer, spotlight and light board operator, makeup artist, and graphic designer.
